Bob (temporarily known as King Bob) is one of the Minions. He appears in Despicable Me 2 and the prequel films Minions and Minions: The Rise of Gru, beingness the tritagonists of these two.

A minion by the same proper name, having a unlike appearance, appears in Despicable Me.

Appearance

Bob is a short and bald Minion with heterocromia. He often carries around a teddy bear that he owns chosen Tim, which is brown with yellow buttoned optics.

Personality

Bob is a Minion who is more than childish and young than most of the other Minions. He is described as a "Petty Brother" who finds love in anything and everything, including a rat (who he named Poochy) he constitute in a sewer in the Minions movie. He besides enjoys bedtime stories and playing with his favorite stuffed teddy bear, Tim. However, in the audition scene in Despicable Me ii, he (having grown since the time of Minions) is shown as more than mature, albeit still playful, as well every bit more of a goofball like all the other Minions.

Plot

Despicable Me 2

Bob is auditioning for the film Minions forth with Stuart and Kevin. He is playful and brings much annoyance to Kevin.

Then, he enters a department store while Kevin and Stuart search for him after noticing him missing. Kevin grabs the loudspeaker of the store and calls Bob, while Bob enters a irresolute room, thinking Kevin is inside. In the room, he sees lots of mirrors on the wall; seeing his reflection, he thinks it is his buddies, he runs bumping into it and discovers it'due south not real. Kevin goes into the room, and Bob tells Kevin he misses the tribe. Kevin hands him his teddy carry just before the light goes out.

He is quite excited when he sees some information from VNC, a meridian secret channel most villains. In Villain-Con, Bob meets Professor Flux, who invented a time auto, but the professor is killed by i of his future avatars. The next twenty-four hours, Bob and Stuart are tied upwards to a pile of explosives, gear up to be set off by the Overkills, only Kevin breaks in and saves them. Meanwhile, after thinking Kevin had "died" with Ruby's missile in the afterward fight, Bob was the offset one to mourn his "death". But it turns out that Kevin is alive and he returns to normal size and he returns to him equally a teddy bear.

At the end of the movie, Queen Elizabeth ll thanks Bob for being king and rewards him with a tiny crown for his teddy bear Tim and he hugs her in return, he after gives the crown to Scarlet in pity, and says goodbye to her, as he joins alongside the Minion tribe chasing Felonius Gru.

Bob in Minions Paradise

Bob is a playable character in Minions Paradise. He tin exist unlocked and gain new story when the player has finished enough number of party supplies, and still, Phil need to help Bob, including edifice bridges to a new island.

After being helped, Bob still stays in sure areas that hasn't cleaned up yet, and when role player is able to access every available places to expand on the island, Bob then still exist on the island but becomes an unplayable character.

Minion Rush

Bob is a playable grapheme every bit King Bob. He appears after a lot of bananas in the game and players around the globe as a free gift for everyone.   • Bob is similar to Jerry. Merely, he has heterochromic and baldheaded.
    • Writer Brian Lynch has added the fact Bob is heterochromic because movie director Pierre Coffin is a huge fan of English language singer David Bowie, who had two different eyes.[1]
      • In fact, David Bowie's collaboration with Queen, "Nether Pressure", was used in trailers for Minions.
    • Hence, he is so far the only known minion to have an eye color (greenish and brown (Despicable me 2)) while the optics of other normal minions are all brown; though Evil Minions practice accept purple eyes.
  • He is also the shortest known minion, while the former shortest minion or shortest one-eyed minion was Stuart.
  • He is the only minion known to have become king at some point.
    • He is too the just minion to have become a court judge.
  • Bob bears some resemblance to Agnes Gru, which is why he was given a major role in Minions, along with Kevin and Stuart.
